This study used a qualitative content analysis approach to examine the representation of dogs in entertainment content and popular media. A sample of 50 films, television shows, and online videos featuring dogs was selected for analysis. The sample included a range of genres, including comedy, drama, action, and documentary. Each media item was coded for the way dogs were represented, including their role, behavior, and interactions with humans.
