Most VIA devices are supported natively by Windows. If yours isn't working, follow these steps:
If the upper/lower filter drivers are corrupted:
Many 14cd:1212 drives have (DVD region 1–6). Symptoms: Reads CDs but not DVDs, or "Incorrect function" on some movie discs.
USB devices use unique pairs of 16-bit identifiers called and PID to tell a computer what they are and who made them.
Look for "USB Mass Storage Device" with a yellow exclamation mark.
