The Very Best Of The - Stranglers 2006 Rar
A hilarious, pub-rock-meets-punk rant about aging. Recorded during The Raven sessions, it’s driven by a honky-tonk piano and Cornwell’s exaggerated elderly voice. Never on CD outside of a long-deleted 1980s box set. Its inclusion here was a revelation for younger fans.
Formed in 1974 in Guildford, Surrey, England, The Stranglers were one of the first punk rock bands to emerge in the UK. With their early raw energy and rebellious spirit, they quickly gained a following and released their debut album "Rattus norvegicus" in 1977. Over the years, the band has undergone several lineup changes, with vocalist and guitarist Hugh Cornwell being the primary constant member. Other notable members include bassist Jean-Jacques Burnel, drummer Pete Farndon, and keyboardist John Pearce. the very best of the stranglers 2006 rar
