The story follows Kai Jin (played by Khleo Thomas), a young chef who discovers he is the last living member of the Wu Assassins, a legendary group of killers with magical powers. Kai teams up with a group of allies, including Ying (played by Lucy Liu), a powerful and skilled warrior; Fish (played by Ian Anthony Dale), a mysterious and deadly assassin; and Uncle Six (played by Russell Hornsby), a wise and experienced martial artist.

The plot revolves around Kai Jin (played by Byron Mann), a martial arts expert and bounty hunter with extraordinary abilities. Kai is on a quest to become the greatest Wu Assassin, a legendary warrior with the power to wield the elements. After Season 1, Netflix released a sequel film titled Wu Assassins: Fistful of Vengeance in February 2022. It continues the story with Iko Uwais, Lewis Tan, and Katheryn Winnick. However, there is of the series. The movie serves as the conclusion.
