Using and Probabilistic Error Cancellation (PEC) , the effective error per gate was reduced from 1.1 % to below 0.3 % for circuits up to depth 30. The rapid feedback loop contributed to a 15 % reduction in cumulative decoherence by aborting runs early when error syndromes exceeded a preset threshold.
