What Was the “User Blob”? The “User Blob” wasn’t an official in-game character or mechanic. Instead, it was a name players used—half joking, half concerned—to describe an odd visual or behavioral artifact that appeared for some users: a low-detail, amorphous graphic element, or occasionally malformed avatar/asset, that showed up where a character, decoration, or UI element should be. In many cases it looked like a blurred, generic mass instead of a fully rendered object, and it often coincided with lag, incomplete asset downloads, or mismatched client-server states.
