There is a quiet kind of magic that happens just after the zoo gates close. The crowds have faded, the popcorn smell lingers only faintly, and the real world of the animals begins. As a lifelong observer of nature (and a hopeless romantic), I’ve spent countless evenings wandering the twilight paths of my local zoo, watching the “Zoofulia” of life unfold.
