The film tells the story of Matthew Kidman (Emile Hirsch), a straight-laced college student who lives next door to a beautiful and charming girl named Danielle (Elisha Cuthbert). As Matthew gets to know Danielle, he discovers that she is, in fact, a former adult film star who has retired to suburban New Jersey to live a normal life.
